CDN Viewer’s WHAT’S ON? for September 24 – October 7, 2023

On the network front, the new season kicks off, although due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes, fall schedules will be comprised mainly of game shows & reality series.  The next two weeks see the premiere of 4 new series and the return Almost Paradise, Children Ruin Everything, Hudson & Rex, Magnum P.I., Murdoch Mysteries, Quantum Leap, Shoresy, SkyMed, TransplantVictoria  New series premiering in the next two weeks NBC’s new crime dramas Found & The Irrational, FOX’s new animated sitcom Krapopolis and Global’s new action drama Robyn Hood.  On the reality front, 2 new series premiere: ABC dating series The Golden Bachelor and CTV series The Traitors Canada.  In addition, Bachelor in Paradise, Dancing with the Stars, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Lego Masters, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Shark Tank, Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Great Canadian Baking Show, The Masked Singer & The Voice return with an all-new season while America’s Got Talent & Secret Celebrity Renovation conclude their current season.  On the game show front, 2 new series premiere: Snake Oil on FOX and Loteria Loca on CBS; In addition, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune & The $100,000 Pyramid return with an all-new season.

On the specialty & streaming front, the next 2 weeks see the premiere of 4 new series and the return of Chucky, Loki, Lupin, Our Flag Means Death & Starstruck and the series finale of Breeders, Physical & The Continental.  New series premiering in the next two weeks include Amazon Prime Video’s new superhero drama (spin-off of The Boys) Gen V, Netflix’s new adult animated dark fantasy horror Castlevania: Nocturne, Paramount+’s new Korean drama Bargain and Sundance Now’s new limited series Irish crime drama The Vanishing Triangle. In addition, Only Murders in the Building, Star Wars: Ahsoka, The Pact & The Wheel of Time conclude their current season.

Other highlights include the 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards which air September 28.

On the reality front, Halloween Cookie Challenge, Outrageous Pumpkins (Food Network)  and Tough Love with Hilary Farr (HGTV) return with an all-new season.
