CDN Viewer’s WHAT’S ON? for January 1 – 11, 2020

Happy New Year! to everyone and Welcome to the first installment of the New! What’s On? column for 2020.

The first week of the New year sees the return of many network shows from their holiday hiatus as well as new series premieres which include Deputy, FBI: Most Wanted, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.  Canadian original series premieres include Nurses from Global and Fortunate Son from CBC.  Specialty and streaming new series premiering this week include Medical Police, Messiah, Spinning Out & Dracula from Netflix, Mad About You & Miracle Workers on CTV Comedy Channel and Party of Five reboot on ABC Spark & W Network.

Other highlights include the debut of two Jeopardy specials- What is Jeopardy?, an insight look at the show and an interview with Alex Trebek airs January 2, while Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time– a new limited series where the 3 greatest contestants in the shows’ history square off against each other, premieres January 7.  The 77th Annual Golden Globes kick off award season, airing Sunday January 5 @ 8pm ET.  On the reality front, new seasons of America’s Got Talent: The Champions and The Bachelor premiere January 6.
