Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada Acquires DURHAM COUNTY: SEASON TWO DVD Distribution

Muse Distribution International has signed Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada to distribute “Durham County: Season Two” in the Canadian home entertainment market.

“Durham County” is an emotionally compelling dramatic series that combines police procedural with an intense family drama. More betrayal and terrifying secrets are unleashed when “Durham County” returns for another electrifying season. In Season Two, newly promoted homicide Detective Mike Sweeney (Hugh Dillon of Dance Me Outside, “Flashpoint”) struggles to keep his family together as they try to come to terms with the anguish left behind by serial killer Ray Prager. He also develops an intense bond with a brilliant but deeply troubled forensic psychiatrist named Pen Verrity (Michelle Forbes of “In Treatment,” “True Blood”), who works in his department.

The series is executive produced by Michael Prupas (“Human Trafficking,” “The Pillars of the Earth”) of Muse Entertainment Enterprises and Janis Lundman and Adrienne Mitchell of Back Alley Film Productions who also co-created the series with Laurie Knizhnik. “Durham County” is a co-production between Muse Entertainment Enterprises and Back Alley Film Productions Ltd., with the participation of The Movie Network and Movie Central, and will be distributed on DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada on behalf of Muse Distribution International.
