As the affair intensifies, the shoe salesman becomes dangerously possessive and won’t let her go. It sent her in a spiral of severe depression and ultimately her own death. Overwhelmed with questions and not knowing where to turn for answers, Jake reaches out to women everywhere by placing an ad in the newspaper asking for their diaries – their most heartfelt, intimate thoughts and secrets. He hopes he can learn through their experiences how his own relationship could have gone so terribly wrong. Each episode presents one of these diaries… stories of passion, obsession, eroticism and love. And with each episode, Jake comes a little closer to his own understanding.
