The new one-hour documentary Queens of Diamonds premieres Tuesday, August 16 on the Global Television Network.
Hosted by Kevin Newman, the Global National special presentation profiles Eira Thomas and Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, two women power players in Canada’s diamond industry, and follows their dramatic adventures in their quest to find Canada’s next diamond mine in Nunavut.
Alberta-based filmmaker Mark Miller followed the two women from their offices in Vancouver to the corporate boardrooms of New York and the vast, bare tundra of Canada’s Far North.
Will Catherine and Eira be crowned the new Queens of Diamonds by journey’s end or will they be forced to start back at square one?
Queens of Diamonds is produced by Mark Miller, Erin Mussolum and Michelle Welygan. The documentary is directed by Miller and written by Miller, Kevin Newman and Jason Keel.
Queens of Diamonds premieres Tuesday, August 16 on the Global Television Network as follows:
