The long-awaited final season of Person of Interest finally begins this week, and there are a couple of new intriguing shows, Houdini and Doyle and The Aliens. Also, a week is always made better by a new concert from Adele! Happy viewing!

The year’s best performers in country music are honoured in Los Angeles. Performers include Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Cam, Dan and Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Martina McBride, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians – 9pm on E! – 12th Season Premiere
Monday
Houdini and Doyle – 9pm on Fox/Global – Series Premiere
The famed magician teams with writer Arthur Conan Doyle to help Scotland Yard investigate crimes with a supernatural edge at the turn of the 20th century in this mystery miniseries.
Tuesday
Person of Interest – 10pm on CBS/CTV – Fifth and Final Season Premiere
Starting next week, there will be a double dose of this show’s final season on Mondays AND Tuesdays at 10pm on both CBS and CTV.
Wednesday
The Aliens – 9pm on Space – Series Premiere
This British science fiction comedy-drama follows the life of Border Guard Lewis Garvey who screens the Aliens who have been integrating themselves into Britain for 40 years. The six-part series opens as Garvey discovers that he himself is half-alien.
Friday
Adele Live in New York City – 8pm to 9:30 on NBC
Adele performs at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Despite the title, this concert is not live (but it has never been televised before). It was recorded last November.
Saturday
Chris Hardwick: Funcomfortable – 10pm on Comedy
The self-proclaimed Nerdist (and host of Talking Dead, the talk show that follows the Walking Dead shows) performs his latest standup comedy tour, covering everything from sexual fetishes to how inappropriate humour helped him deal with the death of his father (pro bowler Billy Hardwick).
