With November sweeps in full swing, the broadcast networks are looking to get viewers into the habit of watching their new and returning shows, but the non-network channels have new offerings to lure you away, including a new talk show from actress Busy Philipps (hoping to draw Chelsea Handler’s former viewers); the return of Ray Donovan; and Mike Judge’s animated docuseries about some of the quirkier stories from the music world, Tales From the Tour Bus. Busy Tonight – 10 to 10:30pm on E! – Series Premiere

Busy Philipps (Cougartown, Freaks and Geeks) hosts this talk show which runs four nights a week, Sunday through Wednesday. Her guest in the opener is Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project).

Strange Evidence – 10 to 11pm on Cottage Life – 2nd Season Premiere

Ray Donovan – 9 to 10pm on TMN – 6th Season Premiere

Howards End – 9 to 10pm on Superchannel Fuse – Miniseries Premiere

This four-part miniseries is based on the E.M. Forster novel set in turn-of-the-century England, when social and class divisions were changing. Hayley Atwell, Matthew Macfayden, Philippa Coulthard, and Joseph Quinn star.

Secrets of the Zoo – 9 to 10pm on National Geographic – Series Premiere

In The Long Run – 9:30 to 10pm on CBC – Series Premiere

Idris Elba created and stars in this comedy series based on his own childhood, which follows a family as they live life in London 13 years after leaving Sierra Leone.

Sinking Cities – 10 to 11pm on PBS – Series Premiere
