unREAL – 10pm on Showcase
This comedy was created by Marti Noxon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro (who made an award-winning short film (Sequin Raze) upon which this show is based. It follows an ambitious young woman (Shiri Appleby) who works on a reality dating show and will seemingly do anything to make her boss (Constance Zimmer) happy.
Tuesday

This hilarious comedy, where Friends’ Matt Leblanc plays a jerkier version of Matt Leblanc, begins its third season on IFC Canada.

Wednesday
The Escape Artist – 10pm to 11:15 on Bravo
This series stars David Tennant (DOCTOR WHO) as Will Burton, a brilliant defense lawyer coined “The Escape Artist” for his infamous ability to free criminals. When Burton helps to free an obviously-guilty client based on a technicality, his life takes a dramatic turn.
The Game – 10pm on BET – 9th season premiere
The final season of this comedy-drama about the ups and downs and ins and outs of professional football.
Thursday
Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night – 8pm on ABC (also a new edition is on Sunday at 7pm)
As he does every year before the NBA Final games (after the games in the west), Jimmy Kimmel presents an abbreviated version of his late night talk show.
Hannibal – 10pm on NBC and City – 3rd season premiere
The continuing trials, tribulations and manipulations of Dr. Hannibal Lecter continue. Creator/Developer Bryan Fuller has said David Lynch and David Cronenberg are among his influences while working on this show, if that tells you anything.
Friday
Law And Order: U.K. – 9pm on City – 8th season premiere
This may be the final season of the British version of the L&O franchise, but others have said the show will just be taking a break and might be back.
Saturday
The Night Shift – 10pm on Global
If you want to catch up on this NBC summer medical drama, Global is airing the series from the start beginning tonight. (The show has been renewed for a third season.)
Sunday
The 69th Annual Tony Awards – 8-11pm on CBS
Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming (Eli on The Good Wife) host this year’s awards to honour the best on Broadway! Presenters include Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) Larry David, Amanda Seyfried, Jim Parsons, Kiefer Sutherland, Rita Wilson, Sting Ashley Tisdale and Marg Helgenberger.
