Live from New York’s Madison Square Gardens, performers include Nick Jonas, Britney Spears, G-Eazy and Ty Dolla $ign. Rihanna receives the Video Vanguard Award. Kanye West has reportedly been given four minutes to do whatever he wants to do, so beware. (Not so incidentally, Taylor Swift has no plans to attend.) There’s no host per se, but Key and Peele will have play-by-play commentary, and DJ Khaled, Nicole Byer and Jay Pharoah will mingle with the celebs.
