TSN’s coverage of the men’s tournament begins with the play-in games on Thursday, March 18 at 6 p.m. ET, featuring teams vying to qualify for the remaining four spots in the tournament, and continues all the way to the championship game on Monday, April 5 at 9 p.m. ET, live from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
TSN’s coverage of the women’s tournament begins with the First Round on Sunday, March 21 at 11 a.m. ET, and continues all the way to the championship game on Sunday, April 4 at 6 p.m. ET, live from Alamodome in San Antonio.

TSN’s Kate Beirness and Kayla Grey host the network’s NCAA® MARCH MADNESS® coverage from the TSN studio alongside analyst Jack Armstrong and two-time NCAA® women’s basketball champion and point guard for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury Kia Nurse. Providing extensive pre-game, halftime, and post-game analysis on both the men’s and women’s tournaments, the panel delivers breaking news, bracket busters, and Canadians participating in this year’s tournament. Matthew Scianitti also provides updates for SPORTSCENTRE, including reoccurring segments with Nurse, “3 Point Play” and “AND 1”.
NCAA® MARCH MADNESS® Programming on TSN
Leading up to the tournaments, TSN primes fans with a slate of ESPN preview programming, breaking down the key matchups with College Game Night: Bracketology, beginning Sunday, March 14 at 7 p.m. ET on TSN2. The WOMEN’S SELECTION SPECIAL airs Monday, March 15 at 7 p.m. ET as well as the TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE MARATHON available on TSN.ca and the TSN app. On Tuesday, March 16, TSN’s complementary NCAA® MARCH MADNESS® programming also features the WOMEN’S BRACKET SPECIAL (7:30 p.m. ET on TSN5) followed by ESPN’s Jay Bilas: My Bracket is Better than Your Bracket (9 p.m. ET on TSN5).
SPORTSCENTRE is Canada’s home for game analysis, daily bracket updates, features, and tournament-wide coverage throughout NCAA® MARCH MADNESS®. The show profiles key Canadians playing in the tournament including:
- Andrew Nembhard with the undefeated Gonzaga Bulldogs
- Aaliyah Edwards with the Big East Champion UConn Huskies who have only lost one game this season
- Laeticia Amihere with South Carolina Gamecocks, who secured their sixth SEC title in seven years
Throughout both the men’s and women’s tournaments, hoops fans can keep an eye on the many Canadian players on the court. Featured in the men’s tournament are Nembhard as well as Joshua Primo with Alabama, Zach Edey with Purdue, Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe with Oklahoma State, Gabe Osabuohien with West Virginia, and Eugene Omoruyi and Chris Duarte with Oregon.
The women’s tournament is highlighted by Edwards and Amihere as well as Shaina Pellington with Arizona, Hailey Brown with Michigan, Alyssa Jerome with Stanford, Rebecca Demeke with North Carolina State, Merissah Russell with Louisville, and Brynn Masikewich with UCLA, who has not played this season due to injury.
