TSN and RDS give fans all of the thrills and spills from the 2011 RED BULL CRASHED ICE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP with exclusive live coverage from Quebec City on Saturday, March 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The RED BULL CRASHED ICE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP features the fiercest and most fearless ice cross downhillers from around the world hurtling across a 560-metre ice course outfitted with massive drops, hairpin turns and huge jumps at speeds pushing 60 km/h.
The popular event is taking place in Quebec City for the sixth consecutive year. It has become one of the province’s most anticipated events with more than 120,000 fans expected to line the course in historic Old Quebec.
The 2011 RED BULL CRASHED ICE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP includes BC brothers Kyle and Scott Croxall, who placed second and third respectively at the Valkenburg, Netherlands, qualifying race held in February. Kyle will defend his RED BULL CRASHED ICE world champion title, coming off a second-place finish in the recent Moscow event.
