The world of golf turns its focus to Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin, this week as TSN provides live coverage of all four rounds from the final major of the PGA TOUR season, the 92nd PGA CHAMPIONSHIP from Thursday, August 12 to Sunday, August 15.
TSN’s coverage of the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP begins Thursday at 1 p.m. ET with live action from the first round. Live coverage of the second round begins at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, while the third and final rounds begin live at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
TSN.ca features live streaming coverage throughout all four rounds of this year’s PGA CHAMPIONSHIP. One live streaming option delivers coverage of the four par 3s (holes 3, 7, 12 and 17) while a second live streaming option allows viewers to follow two featured groups throughout their round each day. Tiger Woods looks to get back on track with a win at Whistling Straits that would tie him with Jack Nicklaus and Walter Hagan as the only five-time winners of the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP. Standing between Woods and another major title are a 96 of the top 100-ranked golfers in the world, including another 10 former PGA Champions. Canadians Mike Weir and Stephen Ames will also be in the hunt along with defending champion Y.E. Yang of South Korea.
Considered ‘Glory’s Last Shot’ by pro golfers and fans alike, the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP is the final chance of the year for players to capture a major championship title. This year’s event marks just the second time that Whistling Straits Golf Club has hosted the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP.
