TSN’s coverage of the 2021 CFL DRAFT features the first two rounds, kicking off with the 2021 GREY CUP host city Hamilton Tiger-Cats with the first overall pick. As originally revealed during TSN’s GREY CUP UNITE special, the full 2021 CFL DRAFT order is available here.

Fans can also follow the 2021 CFL DRAFT on TSN’s digital and social media platforms, with written and video analysis and recaps on TSN.ca, as well as a draft preview and pick-by-pick draft tracker, followed by additional highlights on TSN’s DIGITAL SPORTSCENTRE.

New this year, the 2021 CFL DRAFT features several format changes, including:

  • A new “snake” draft style format (a drafting style in which teams pick in order, and when the round is complete, the teams then pick in reverse order. This pattern continues for each round until all rounds are complete.)
  • The draft will be six rounds long, instead of the traditional eight rounds
  • There will be no territorial selections
  • U SPORTS athletes had the opportunity to defer their draft year to 2022. A total of 132 prospects chose to do so.
  • NCAA players who are draft eligible in the 2021 CFL DRAFT and decide to use their extra year of eligibility will not have their draft year deferred.
