Hark! Another season of enchantment is upon us. Bigger, bolder and more magical, Season 2 of the critically acclaimed medieval fantasy series MERLIN premieres Saturday, Sept. 11, at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on SPACE. The first season of MERLIN captured an average of nearly one million viewers each week on CTV.* Now joining SPACE’s Saturday prime-time line-up, viewers can tune in each week for all-new episodes and then relive the magic online for one month following broadcast at spacecast.com.
Featuring exciting new villains, white knuckle stunt sequences and spectacular CGI monsters, MERLIN Season 2 is ambitious and action-packed. The second season sees our hero continue to fulfill his destiny to protect Prince Arthur while battling to conceal his growing magical powers as King Uther fortifies the war against magic. Merlin faces his most formidable opponent yet as an ancient evil buried deep beneath Camelot wakes to destroy the Kingdom. This evil forces the young warlock to question whose side he’s on and make a promise to The Great Dragon he may live to regret.

In the premiere episode, new servant Cedric (Mackenzie Crook, THE OFFICE) threatens Merlin’s position as Arthur’s right-hand-man, turning the Prince against his loyal friend. Merlin is convinced the slippery newcomer is up to something crooked.
MERLIN sees the return of Colin Morgan in the title role and Bradley James as the headstrong Prince Arthur. The series also stars sci-fi and drama veteran Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire SlayeR) as King Uther, the legendary Richard Wilson (One Foot in the Grave) as Gaius, Katie McGrath (THE TUDORS) as Morgana and Angel Coulby (DOCTOR WHO) as Gwen.
