Week of May 4-10: CTV and the CTV Specialty Channel Group Programming Highlights

MUST-WATCH FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 4

CTV: ALL RISE – Inspired by current events, the virtually produced episode airs Monday, May 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. With Los Angeles under a mandatory shelter-in-place order and trials piling up, Judge Benner (Marg Helgenberger, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) authorizes Judge Carmichael (Simone Missick, Altered Carbon) to preside over a virtual bench trial, a case regarding a dispute between brothers over a car.

CTV Comedy Channel celebrates Mother’s Day with the all-new, 90-minute comedy special CALL YOUR MOTHER, Sunday, May 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Directed by Oscar®-nominated filmmakers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (Jesus Camp, Freakonomics: The Movie), the documentary shines the spotlight on the moms of A-list comedians including Emmy® winner Louie Anderson, Golden Globe® winner Awkwafina, Golden Globe nominee David Spade, and Emmy nominee Tig Notaro.

CTV Drama Channel: KILLING EVE continues with an all-new episode, Sunday, May 10 at 10 p.m. ET, picking up after Villanelle received good news about her promotion.

CTV Life Channel: In another new episode of JAMIE: KEEP COOKING AND CARRY ON, Wednesday, May 6 at 5 p.m. ET, British chef Jamie Oliver shares recipes, tips, and hacks tailored for the unique times we’re living in, including pork stir-fry, steamed dumplings, and his best mate Jimmy Doherty’s ultimate roast beef sarnie.

CTV Sci-Fi Channel: The SUPERHEROES FROM SPACE MARATHON lands Saturday, May 9 at 8 p.m. ET, featuring intergalactic blockbusters SUPERMAN, SUPERMAN II, THOR, and THOR: THE DARK WORLD.

CTV Throwback and CTV Movies: Golden Globe-winning series PARTY OF FIVE joins CTV Throwback beginning Thursday, May 7, with all six seasons available to stream. Twenty-four-year-old Charlie Salinger (Matthew Fox, LOST) is back at home – and in over his head – as his siblings’ legal guardian following the death of his parents. Wary of Charlie’s judgment, 16-year-old Bailey (Scott Wolf, NANCY DREW) takes on the responsibilities of the family’s finances and ground rules, as 15-year-old Julia (Neve Campbell, HOUSE OF CARDS) faces a confusing time in her life, and talented 11-year-old violinist Claudia (Lacey Chabert, Mean Girls) helps Bailey hold the family together. Through it all, as they learn to run their parents’ restaurant and manage disastrous relationships and school problems, the Salingers know that in order to survive, they must help each other.
