This 90-minute documentary takes viewers to the bustling 1960s in Toronto, a time ripe with creative potency and flair. On this trip through time, viewers visit the avant-garde coffee house that changed the course of show business history, launching some of Canada’s most unforgettable careers. A generation of artists such as Margaret Atwood, Gordon Lightfoot, Mark Breslin, David French, and comic Lorne Michaels were nurtured by The Bohemian Embassy and revisit this historic hot spot. The documentary features interviews with these artists and other Canadian treasures who got their start under the roof of one of Toronto’s most significant landmarks.
