Cartoon Network and Adult Swim Unveil Their Fall Schedule

September brings a lot of changes to Cartoon Network. Take a look at all the exciting highlights below:

Acclaimed programs coming to Cartoon Network!

Cartoon Network is welcoming these fan favourite animated shows to the September schedule:

Grojband
12 yr old COREY (CORE) RIFFEN starts a GARAGE BAND with his three best friends and quickly realizes that their band sucks – like a lot. It’s not their music or ever-changing image that’s the problem. It’s Corey’s lack of lyrics. He just can’t think of anything cool to write about, UNTIL… Core finds his older sister TRINA’S diary. “Hey! This thing is FULL of teen angst and junk.” Core and the band ‘secretly’ use her latest diary entry for lyrics to their NEW tune – and what do you know? It sounds like pure AWESOMENESS and the gigs are lining up! Problem solved right? Not exactly. Trina’s a total witch and can’t stand the thought of her little brother’s GARBAGE band becoming more popular than her. She’ll stop at nothing to crush their dreams. But that’s cool. Core can read his sister, well… like a book. And he always knows just what to do to make her GO DIARY and give them the one thing they’re missing…WORDS! Follow Corey and his GROJBAND as they reach for the top. GASP at the things they’ll do to his sister’s fragile teenage world to get there.

Packages From Planet X
What would you do if you suddenly started receiving strange, cryptic packages from an evil alien planet? For Dan and his two best friends from the bizarre town of Iron Bay, the answer is: save the world, of course. But before they do, Dan, our charismatic yet vain hero, will use the packages to get on the news, get more handsome, and get out of trouble! The only things stopping them from letting their self-centred teenage impulses run wild are Copernicus, an evil alien agent from Planet X camouflaged as a crotchety neighbourhood elder, and his creepy hybrid sidekick CaliMary, who is half-gibbon, half-squid and full-on nasty. These Packages from Planet X were intended for Copernicus to use so he could lay the foundation for an eventual alien invasion. But since that sniveling and insufferable group of teens somehow intercepted them, his main goal is to get them back any way possible.

The Day My Butt Went Psycho
The Day My Butt Went Psycho is the incredible true tale of a boy and his best friend which just happens to be his newly detached butt.  Together, Zack and Deuce have their own special knack for wacky adventures and have a blast navigating a world where humans and their butts live side by side, sharing the same movie theatres, squabbling over the same parking spots, and swooning over both celebrities and cele-butt-ies.  Most of the butts are up to no good. Our hero, Zack keeps the world safe from double-cheeked bad guys and dreams of becoming the greatest butt fighter of all time! And, having a genuine butt in your corner can be quite an advantage, especially when it comes to battling the bad butts.  Can they save the world from butts gone berserk?  Get ready for some ridiculous butt kicking fun!

Teen Titans Go!
The Teen Titans are back with all-new comedic adventures, and this time they’re giving viewers a look at what life is really like as a teen super hero … once the cape comes off. Focusing on the funny that happens in between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision, the comedic mayhem of the animated series is punctuated by pranks and the occasional need to fight crime, but it will also deal with the everyday issues of adolescence. With epic staring contests to decide who does the laundry, a series of quests and battles to construct the perfect sandwich or fighting crime in Jump City, one thing is for sure — these Titans will always be ready for an adventure, inside the house and out.
