With new series and returning fan favourites, Global’s summer schedule has something for everyone.
ROOKIE BLUE – Thursday, May 23 at 10pm ET/PT
The critically-acclaimed dramatic series Rookie Blue returns for its fourth season and welcomes two new characters who have the power to turn the Division on its head. Last season, the officers of 15 Division got what they wanted and had to deal with the repercussions. This year, they will have to look change right in the eye and learn to adapt – leaving them with some big, bold choices to make.
THE AMERICAN BAKING COMPETITION – Wednesday, May 29 at 8pm ET/PT
Based on the UK phenomenon The Great British Bake Off, The American Baking Competition pits 10 amateur bakers against one another, competing for a $250,000 grand prize and publishing contract with Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books. Hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy,The American Baking Competition will also feature accomplished chef Marcela Valladolid and star baker Paul Hollywood.
UNDER THE DOME – Monday, June 24 at 10pm ET/PT
Based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel and produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment, Under the Dome is the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away. Under the Dome’s ensemble cast includes Canadian actor Rachelle Lefevre (The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Barney’s Version).
BIG BROTHER, SEASON 15 – Wednesday, June 26 at 9pm ET/PT
The big summer reality fan favourite Big Brother gets even bigger this year with an earlier start to Season 15. Hosted by Julie Chen, the show continues to broadcast three night a week — Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT, Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT and Sundays at 8pm ET/PT.
