CTV announced today the new one-hour special, IDEAS FOR A BETTER WORLD: TEDxToronto premiering Saturday, January 2 at 12 noon ET on CTV. Produced in partnership with Bell Media Studios, the special is hosted by ETALK co-anchor Tyrone Edwards, and features a slate of compelling talks by speakers focused on how we can improve ourselves and inspire our local communities to enact wider, global change. Following the premiere on CTV, IDEAS FOR A BETTER WORLD: TEDxToronto will be available on CTV.ca and the CTV app.
IDEAS FOR A BETTER WORLD: TEDxToronto features four speakers hoping to inspire growth and change by sharing their stories including: TRANSPLANT star Hamza Haq; Toronto Star labour journalist Sara Mojtehedzadeh; infectious disease physician and BlueDot Health founder, Kamran Khan; and The Workaround founder, Amanda Munday.
TEDxToronto’s first network special addresses a variety of vital topics including authenticity and honouring your heritage, the impact of precarious work on the health of our societies, linking the thread between pandemics past and future, and placing child care at the centre of our economy.
IDEAS FOR A BETTER WORLD: TEDxToronto was shot on a closed set at Bell Media Studios in Toronto and adhered to local COVID-19 Public Health guidelines.
