WAYWARD PINES:

Imagine the perfect American town – beautiful homes, manicured lawns, children playing safely in the streets. Now imagine never being able to leave. You have no communication with the outside world. You think you’re going insane. You must be in Wayward Pines. The 10-episode, intense psychological thriller, evocative of the classic hit Twin Peaks,  begins as Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke drives to the picturesque town, searching for two missing federal agents. But everything changes when a truck slams into his car and he wakes up in the Wayward Pines Hospital, with the unorthodox Nurse Pam (Leo) at his bedside. Among the other residents Ethan comes to meet are Beverly (Lewis), a bartender who is as wary of Wayward Pines as he is; and Sheriff Arnold Pope (Howard), who takes issue with a Secret Service agent showing up on his turf.

But as Ethan’s investigation continues, the mysteries within the town pile up and he begins to question his own sanity. Becoming more distant from the life he knew as a husband and father, he is faced with the horrifying reality that he may never make it out of Wayward Pinesalive.

The series also stars Emmy® Award-nominee Toby Jones (Victoria & Albert), Reed Diamond (Moneyball), Tim Griffin (Star Trek), Carla Gugino (Night at the Museum), Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale), and Charlie Tahan (I Am Legend).

Wayward Pines is a production of FX Productions. Developed for television by Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club, Runaway) and executive produced by Donald De Line (Green Lantern), Ashwin Rajan (After Earth) Hodge and M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense).

BETWEEN:

In the series premiere of this six-episode survivalist drama, a mysterious virus begins to kill off adults in the small town of Pretty Lake, and those left alive scramble to survive. Wiley Day (McCurdy) is pregnant but she has a plan: she’s going to give up the baby and leave Pretty Lake behind forever – that is until the government quarantines a 10-mile radius around the town. Trapped inside, Wiley’s best friend Adam (Jesse Carere, Finding Carter), whose plans to attend MIT are dashed, knows their only hope of escape is to find the cause of the virus.

During the chaos, other teen residents take advantage of the ensuing lawlessness. “Creekers” from the edge of town Ronnie (Kyle Mac,Hemlock Grove) and his brother Pat (Jim Watson, The Strain) drive into Pretty Lake for a looting spree, while Chuck (Justin Kelly, Maps to the Stars), a rich-kid athlete, tries to keep some semblance of law in the town his father used to practically own. Gord (Ryan Allen, Blue Mountain State), a farm boy, tries to keep his friends from getting hurt or killed, and Ellen (Sarah Podemski, The Border), a prison guard, tries to save Mark (Jack Murrah, Beauty and the Beast), a young inmate, from a prison gang with a grudge.
