Canadians get an earful as the new half-hour comedy series $#*! MY DAD SAYS returns to CTV in its regular Thursday night timeslot beginning Oct. 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CTV (visit ctv.ca to confirm local broadcast times). The hilarious new comedy airs immediately following Canada’s most-watched television program THE BIG BANG THEORY for a hilarious one-two Thursday night punch.

Based on the popular Twitter feed by Justin Halpern, $#*! MY DAD SAYS garnered 1.5 million viewers when it premiered on CTV in Canada on a special day and time on Sept. 26. In the U.S., it’s the #2 new comedy this Fall, just behind /A\’s MIKE & MOLLY*. Last week, 10.16 million viewers tuned in on CBS, helping $#*! MY DAD SAYS win its 8:30 p.m. timeslot nationally and with the key A18-49 and A25-54 demos **.

In this week’s new episode of $#*! MY DAD SAYS, entitled “Not Without My Jacket” (Thursday, Oct. 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CTV), Ed (William Shatner) tries to teach Henry (Jonathan Sadowski) a lesson about borrowing his clothes, however, his plan backfires when he inadvertently lends Henry’s jacket to a friend. Meanwhile, Vince (Will Sasso, MADTV) regrets asking Bonnie (Nicole Sullivan, SCRUBS) to tell him all the juicy details about a previous relationship.
