– AP’s hit series returns with a third season of powerful new tales of obsessive and all-consuming deadly love –
Whatever happened to adopting a puppy? Animal Planet’s FATAL ATTRACTIONS returns for a third season with six all-new episodes featuring people united by a deadly obsession – they are compelled to live with beasts that could easily kill them, including wild cats, chimps, venomous snakes and alligators. Premiering Thursday, June 14 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT, each hour-long episode tackles several cases of exotic pet ownership, with each situation carefully reenacted, scrutinized and questioned. Owners unhesitatingly share their experiences with exotic pets and offer explanations as to why their love for these deadly animals is worth the risk.
FATAL ATTRACTIONS goes inside the minds of people who have venomous reptiles, deadly big cats and chimpanzees. These owners believe they can develop unconditional, loving relationships with exotic animals – which most people wouldn’t get near…even with a chain-link fence! In fact, exotic pet ownership is not as rare as viewers might think – or as wildlife experts would wish. Millions of exotic animals are brought to North America in any given year and a significant number of these pets have the potential to severely injure or kill their owners, neighbours or family.
