CTV: THIS IS US returns to CTV with a two-hour season premiere on Wednesday, October 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In “FORTY: PART ONE” and “FORTY: PART TWO,” the Big Three celebrate their 40th birthdays while musing about the day they were born.
CTV Comedy Channel’s CORNER GAS ANIMATED continues with an all-new episode on Monday, Oct. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, featuring cameos by retired Canadian wrestlers Lance Storm, Bret Hart, and Trish Stratus. Brent (Brent Butt) and Hank (Fred Ewanuick)’s excitement over meeting their favourite wrestler turns to despair when they discover he has redefined himself as a gardener. Meanwhile, Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) is afraid of being spied on and gives Wanda (Nancy Robertson) her home assistant, but soon has misgivings. Then, Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) and Davis (Lorne Cardinal) accidentally buy a personal massager with their police budget.
CTV Drama Channel’s horror anthology series MONSTERLAND continues to spook viewers with an all-new episode on Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. ET. Starring Charlie Tahan (OZARK) and Matty Cardarople (STRANGER THINGS), “Eugene, Oregon” focuses on protagonist Nick (Tahan), an overwhelmed, lonely teenager with a rough childhood. When Nick notices a mysterious shadow on his wall, he seeks answers in an online community, dedicated to the eradication of shadows, who radicalize Nick as the shadow mutates into a violent hatred.
CTV Life Channel: LET’S BRUNCH host Vanessa Gianfrancesco (ONE WORLD KITCHEN) takes viewers around the world through an assortment of international brunch delicacies in an all-new episode, airing Friday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. ET. For the first stop, she shares her omurice recipe – a Japanese omelette stuffed with fried rice, earthy mushrooms, and sweet-tangy ketchup. Then, Gianfrancesco spices things up with Mexican chorizo and egg tacos, featuring spicy homemade sausage, creamy scrambled eggs, and warm corn tortillas. Next, she eggs viewers on with Georgian khachapuri, a traditional cheese and egg bread. Last, Gianfrancesco’s serves up Russian crepes, made with tangy kefir batter, topped with butter, crème fraiche, and salmon roe.
CTV Sci-Fi Channel: SUPERNATURAL’s 15th and final season continues Thursday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. ET, as Dean (Jensen Ackles, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) hits the road with Jack (Alexander Calvert, ARROW) to complete a final ritual in his quest to beat Chuck (Rob Benedict, FELICITY). Meanwhile, a difference of opinion leaves Sam (Jared Padalecki, Friday the 13th) and Castiel (Misha Collins, Karla) behind looking for answers to questions of their own.
CTV Throwback: The horror-thriller miniseries DEAN KOONTZ’S INTENSITY and mystery miniseries DEAN KOONTZ’S SOLE SURVIVOR – adaptations of novels by best-selling author Dean Koontz – join CTV Throwback on Thursday, Oct. 29. In DEAN KOONTZ’S INTENSITY, San Francisco waitress Chyna Shepherd (Molly Parker, HOUSE OF CARDS) decides to go home with a friend for a weekend. During the trip, she accidentally witnesses the murder of Laura Templeton and her family, only to find herself the next target of serial killer Edgler Vess (John C. Mcginley, SCRUBS). In DEAN KOONTZ’S SOLE SURVIVOR, reporter Joe Carpenter (Billy Zane, TITANIC) loses his wife and daughter in a plane crash. At his wife’s grave, he meets the sole survivor Rose Tucker (Gloria Reuben, ER) and discovers the plane crash wasn’t a mere accident, but a conspiracy involving children with mysterious powers.
