Sent from the comedy heavens above, self-proclaimed “friendly fellow” PeteHolmes (MARON) is coming to The Comedy Network with the one-hour specialPETE HOLMES: NICE TRY, THE DEVIL premiering Saturday, June 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

A youth pastor turned comedian, Holmes spends the hour lavishing dreamy Canadian heartthrob Ryan Gosling with affection, sharing the sad rituals of being a single man, and providing essentials tips on how to navigate your way out of the bad part of town.

Holmes is a touring stand-up comedian, actor, improviser, writer, and cartoonist who has written for, and voices, multiple characters on UGLY AMERICANS. His short videos are featured regularly on TOSH.0 and his podcast, “You Made It Weird,” is available at www.nerdist.com.

Holmes has also worked as a story editor on I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, and a staff writer on the comedy OUTSOURCED. He has made several appearances on CONAN and is set to host his own late night talk show this fall.
