CMT (Canada) rolls out the red carpet on Wednesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT with the 2010 CMT Music Awards, broadcast live from the home of country music, Nashville, Tennessee.
Hosted by Kid Rock at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the 2010 CMT Music Awards will honour the best music videos in the biz and deliver a slate of performances by country music’s hottest stars including Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley.
Fans have been casting their votes to determine the 2010 winners in the following 9 categories: Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Group Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year, USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year, Director of the Year.
Before the awards begin on Wednesday, June 9, viewers can tune into the premiere of Lady Antebellum: One on One at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, where the band will perform their hit songs “Need You Now” and “American Honey” and chat with CMT’s Paul McGuire.
On Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET/10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PT, fans can catch the CMT Music Awards Nominee Weekend – a special video flow featuring all the nominees of the upcoming 2010 CMT Music Awards.
