Last night, Global hit all the right notes with a special post-game episode of Glee. With 2.16 million viewers (Ind 2+, national) tuning in, Glee outplayed CTV’s Flashpoint by 64% (Ind 2+, national).
The highly-anticipated “The Sue Sylvester Bowl Shuffle” thrilled audiences nationwide and won its time-slot nationally and in the key metered markets. The much buzzed-about episode featured the glee club taking on Michael Jackson’s iconic hit “Thriller” in a mash-up with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs “Heads Will Roll.”
GLEE DATA HIGHLIGHTS (All data A18-49 unless otherwise indicated):
* Glee garnered 1.29 million viewers nationally in the key demo, 187% more viewers than its closest time-slot competitor, Flashpoint (CTV)
· In the three metered markets, Glee bested Flashpoint by 143% in Toronto, 200% in Calgary and 271% in Vancouver
· Edged out last year’s post-Super Bowl broadcast of Undercover Boss (CTV) (Ind 2+, national)

Glee returns to its regular time-slot starting tomorrow with “Silly Love Songs,” Tuesday, February 8 at 8pm ET/PT. Love is in the air at McKinley High when the glee club sets up a kissing booth for Valentine’s Day. But hearts are broken when their plans go awry.
