Curiouscast and Global News Launch New True Crime Limited Podcast Series Crime Beat Most Wanted

True crime enthusiasts are in for a thrill with the launch of Curiouscast’s exclusive new podcast series, Crime Beat Most Wanted, hosted by award-winning Global News Anchor and Producer Tracy Tong.

Premiering on Tuesday, September 10, this limited-edition 15-episode series chronicles the stories of Canada’s most elusive fugitives who are still at-large, offering listeners unprecedented access to in-depth interviews, rare archival footage and more.

This podcast series was inspired by the award-winning Crime Beat podcast, which will head into its sixth season this January and has become a hit series on Global TV.

Crime Beat Most Wanted shines a light on not only the facts, but also the human stories behind the most serious unresolved criminal cases in Canada,” says host Tracy Tong. “By bringing you a behind-the-scenes look at high-profile investigations, our goal is to give you a deeper understanding of the tireless pursuit of justice, and how we can all work together to keep our communities safer.”

Each episode will also highlight how you, the listener, can help authorities in their efforts to capture these suspects-at-large.

“We’re excited to launch this new series from Crime Beat,” says Chris ‘Dunner’ Duncombe, Curiouscast and Corus Entertainment’s Director of Streaming and Podcasting. “Every episode of Crime Beat Most Wanted is compelling and thought-provoking. Tracy is such a talented and seasoned journalist that we are thrilled to work with on this new 15-episode series.”

New episodes will drop weekly, and are available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Amazon Music or wherever you find your favourite podcasts. Learn more at https://curiouscast.ca.

This series was produced with the assistance of The Bolo Program, a collective that helps to amplify wanted notices across Canada, and Crime Stoppers, a network that allows people who witness, or become aware of a crime, to report it anonymously and safely.
