CTV, in partnership with Canada’s Walk of Fame, presents CELEBRATING GREATNESS: CANADA’S WALK OF FAME 2021, premiering Friday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. Co-hosted by actor and 2010 inductee Eric McCormack and ETALK’s Traci Melchor, the one-hour special primetime event honours exceptional Canadians with distinctive accomplishments in philanthropy, advocacy, and contributions towards the greater good.
Presented in a new format produced by Bell Media Studios, the special takes Canadians directly to the inductees and honourees, joining them at home, on-set, and at work, as they accept their introduction to Canada’s Walk of Fame’s prestigious ranks. Co-hosts McCormack and Melchor anchor the broadcast from an exclusive position overlooking the iconic Vancouver skyline, while some of Canada’s greatest achievers present the coveted distinction from Sweden, Quebec City, Los Angeles, New York, and other locations around the world. Beginning Saturday, Dec. 18, CELEBRATING GREATNESS: CANADA’S WALK OF FAME 2021 will stream on Crave.

The broadcast features 2012 inductee Sarah McLachlan, who presents the Allan Slaight Music Impact Honour to platinum-selling recording artist Serena Ryder. Ryder also performs River of Tears with Canadian singer-songwriter William Prince. In addition, Olympic gold medalist Mikaël Kingsbury celebrates NFL Super Bowl winner, who joined the COVID-19 pandemic support efforts, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif with the inaugural National Hero Honour.
