This July, W Network premieres the series Big Voice, proving that, with the help of host Elaine Overholt, everyone can find their unique and powerful voice. W is also celebrating Canada Day with W experts and a marathon of The Week the Women Went and delivers blockbuster hits all month long, including the premiere of The Sixth Sense starring Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment.
BIG VOICE – SERIES PREMIERE
Vocal coach extraordinaire Elaine Overholt, is known for her ability to work magic in the studio and on stage, having coached the likes of Renée Zellweger, Ellen DeGeneres, John Travolta, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere and Michelle Pfeiffer. In the new series Big Voice, Elaine uses her expertise to help take everyday women from the shower to the stage. In each half-hour episode she meets a new woman who has never lived her performance ‘dream’, and makes that dream happen – whether it be singing at a cozy nightclub, singing a duet with her favorite star or just feeling the thrill of singing (well) in front of a live audience with a full band. Along with her team of experts including choreographers, stylists and photographers, Elaine coaches the singers to help them achieve a world class performance and work through their nerves. From choosing the song, to perfecting technique to facing their fears, Elaine will be there every step of the way as each woman finds out if they have what it takes to realize their true musical potential. This 13-episode series, produced by Lenz Entertainment in association with W Network, premieres with four back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, July 13 beginning at 8 p.m. The series continues on Tuesday, July 20 with four back-to-back episodes at 8 p.m. and concludes on Tuesday, July 27 with five back-to-back episodes beginning at 8 p.m.
