CTV packs the end of March full of action beginning with the Season 2 premiere of SPECTACLE: ELVIS COSTELLO WITH… and the VANCOUVER 2010 PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES Closing Ceremony. After a six week break, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES are back and sinking their into the schedule, while CEOs continue to work within their companies when UNDERCOVER BOSS returns to CTV with new episodes.

Saturday, March 20

7 p.m. – W5 – “Diet Man/Tammy” – NEW EPISODE
W5 checks in with consumers who’ve been swindled at the online checkout counter. In today’s virtual marketplace, consumers often miss the fine print and are lured into accepting free trials of products – from tooth whiteners to diet pills – only to find out they’ve unknowingly signed up to spend hundreds of dollars. In the second story, Victor Malarek brings viewers into the tragic world of Tammy Wynne, who was convicted of killing her two-year-old son, Kenneth – a crime she has always maintained she did not commit. Now free on bail, awaiting an appeal, Wynne speaks about trying to rebuild her life and the two children she was forced to give up for adoption while spending 12 years in prison.

10 p.m. – SPECTACLE: ELVIS COSTELLO WITH… – “Neko Case, Sheryl Crow, Ron Sexsmith and Jesse Winchester” – SEASON PREMIERE
In the Season 2 premiere, host Elvis Costello is joined by guests Neko Case, Sheryl Crow, Ron Sexsmith and Jesse Winchester for an old fashioned “guitar pull” and a swapping of songs and stories amongst this amazing group of singer/songwriters. Highlights include Crow’s “If It Makes You Happy”, a Sexsmith and Elvis duet of a “Everyday I Write the Book”, and Jesse Winchester reducing the audience (and his cohorts) to tears with his gentle lyrics and voice.

Sunday, March 21

8 p.m. – THE AMAZING RACE – “Cathy Drone?” – NEW EPISODE
The teams race through France hoping to avoid elimination in this leg of the race.

9 p.m. – DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES – “My Two Young Men” – NEW EPISODE
Angie’s ex-boyfriend, Patrick (guest star John Barrowman, TORCHWOOD), emerges after her trip to New York. Meanwhile, it’s game on between Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) and Susan (Teri Hatcher), as they go to shameless lengths to top each other’s kids.

10 p.m. – VANCOUVER 2010 PARALYMPIC WINTER GAMES – CLOSING CEREMONY
Brian Williams anchors the Closing Ceremony alongside three-time Paralympic Games gold medallist Marni Abbott-Peter, in Whistler, BC.

Monday, March 22

8 p.m. – HICCUPS – “Speed Ball” – NEW EPISODE
Stan (Brent Butt) gets Millie (Nancy Robertson) to take up speed dating in order to meet new friends, while Joyce (Laura Soltis) and Crystal (Emily Perkins) throw a party to prove a point to the tenants of the Haddison House building.

8:30 p.m. – DAN FOR MAYOR – “Inside the War Room” – NEW EPISODE
Dan (Fred Ewanuick) believes that to have any credibility he needs to have a campaign office; Claire (Mary Ashton) learns that politics is not as easy as working at a PR firm.

9 p.m. – TWO AND A HALF MEN – “Ixnay on the Oggie Day” – NEW EPISODE
Charlie (Charlie Sheen) has a return engagement with Chelsea’s best friend, while Alan (Jon Cryer) has an unexpected effect on a new female patient. Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) returns as Chelsea’s best friend and Francis Fisher (Titanic) guest stars as Alan’s chiropractic patient.

9:30 p.m. – THE BIG BANG THEORY – “The Pants Alternative” – NEW EPISODE
Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) friends come to his aid when his fear of public speaking stands between him and a coveted award.

When Horatio’s son Kyle (recurring guest star Evan Ellingson, 24) returns from war, he seeks his father’s help to solve a murder.

Tuesday, March 23

With only eight episodes remaining, Richard Alpert faces a difficult choice.

8 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “Top 11 Perform” – NEW LIVE TWO-HOUR PERFORMANCE EPISODE
The Top 11 finalists take the stage to perform live for the nation in a Teen Idols-themed week. After the performances, it is once again up to America to vote.

10 p.m. – LAW & ORDER: SVU – “Disabled” – NEW EPISODE
Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) are called in to investigate when a disabled woman, Cara Benson (guest star Lisa Arrindell Anderson, IN THE HOUSE), is beaten and raped. Though the victim’s condition has rendered her unable to speak, the detectives soon deduce that someone close to her is involved, and the team investigates her resentful sister (guest star Jill Scott, THE NO. 1 LADIES DETECTIVE AGENCY) and troubled nephew (guest star Quinton Aaron, The Blind Side).

Wednesday, March 24

9 p.m. – AMERICAN IDOL – “1 of 11 Voted Off” – NEW LIVE RESULTS EPISODE
Another contestant is sent packing as the group is narrowed down to 10 performers.

7 p.m. – THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – “A Few Good Men” – NEW EPISODE
After a six-week break, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES returns with even more action. Following the opening of the tomb, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are shocked by what they find. In this new episode, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Caroline (Candice Accola) are surprised by the sudden reappearance of Matt’s mother Kelly (guest star Melinda Clarke, THE O.C.). Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are worried about Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) new attitude. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis) discovers shocking secrets from his own past.

9 p.m. – GREY’S ANATOMY – “Suicide is Painless” – NEW EPISODE
When Teddy’s (Kim Raver) patient seeks to end treatment and her life, she turns to Hunt (Kevin McKidd) for help. The situation triggers Hunt’s memories of his life at war and his past relationship with Teddy. Meanwhile, Callie (Sara Ramierez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) have a difference in opinion on what their future holds, and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) tries to adjust to his role as a surgeon.

Friday, March 26

The BAU profiles a child abductor who may have been keeping children for more than eight years.

10 p.m. – THE BRIDGE – “Vexation of Spirit” – NEW EPISODE
When two off-duty cops are involved in a shooting outside a gym, Frank (Aaron Douglas) quickly turns from protecting them from Internal Affairs to investigating them for wrong-doing himself. He soon discovers the two cops are dealing steroids. Frank will stop at nothing to bring down the rogue cops, even if he has to use his dead friend as bait to set a trap.

On this episode of the acclaimed original series, host and ringleader Elvis Costello literally builds a band in front of the audience’s eyes and ears. Joining him for this once in a lifetime jam session are his former record producer Nick Lowe on bass, legendary New Orleans producer/pianist Allen Toussaint, UK guitar giant Richard Thompson, and to complete his band, drummer Levon Helm.

Sunday, March 28

Chance (Mark Valley) travels to a remote Alaskan island to find a missing doctor and expose an industrial giant’s involvement in the death of a mining foreman.

The remaining teams race through the Seychelle Islands hoping to avoid roadblocks and the next elimination.

9 p.m. – UNDERCOVER BOSS – “Herschend Family Entertainment” – NEW EPISODE
Herschend Family Entertainment CEO Joel Manby works undercover at his company, as UNDERCOVER BOSS returns to CTV.

10 p.m. – COLD CASE – “The Last Drive-In” – NEW EPISODE
In part one of a two-part episode, a murder is linked to a serial killer who has apparently been inactive for 27 years. Involved in the investigation is an FBI agent (guest star Susanna Thompson, KINGS) who has been tracking the killer for 30 years and who was responsible for breaking up Stillman’s (John Finn) marriage years ago. Part two airs Sunday, April 4 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV.

Monday, March 29

8 p.m. – HICCUPS – “Hot Luv” – NEW EPISODE
The competition heats up after Taylor (David Ingram) takes Millie (Nancy Robertson) to lunch. Meanwhile, Joyce (Laura Soltis) seeks Crystal’s (Emily Perkins) expertise and unexpectedly ends up getting Anna’s (Paula Rivera) advice.

8:30 p.m. – DAN FOR MAYOR – “An Engagement in Hell” – NEW EPISODE
Claire (Mary Ashton) holds her engagement party at the bar where Dan (Fred Ewanuick) works, while Dan and Jeff (Paul Bates) try to line up some financing for the struggling campaign.

Captain Donald Cragen (Dann Florek) recognizes the killer’s tactics from a similar case 30 years earlier, when the “Bedtime Butcher” murdered five women in the Bronx. Ann-Margaret (The Break-Up) guest stars as the prime suspect.
