New channels coming to Videotron, no more surcharge for TSN HD and SportsNet HD

According to a Montreal based blog that I’ve had the pleasure of reading for years, Videotron is about to make a few changes to TSN and SportsNet channels in HD as well as add new channels.

For some time now, Videotron charged a 3$ extra for TSN and SportsNet to get access to the HD version of both channels. Due to a new agreements, this will no longer be the case.

New HD channels coming soon:

• Food Network
• HGTV
• Showcase
• Prise 2

Finally, Nat Geo Wild Canada will launch (in SD fgormat only) on channel 118 at the end of the month.
