New Specialty Channel to Launch Feb. 29

More than 7.5 million Canadian households will have access to VICELAND when the specialty channel launches on Monday, Feb. 29. Kicking off with a three-month free preview, VICELAND will be available to subscribers across the country, delivering unlimited access to hundreds of hours of new, exclusive programming.

Buzzed-about content includes Gaycation with Ellen Page (Freeheld) and friend/co-host Ian Daniel, and original music documentary seriesNOISEY, hosted by VICE correspondent Zach Goldbaum.  Also a proud home to Canadian content, VICELAND will feature many series produced out of the VICE Canada studio, including Cyberwar, hosted by VICE News’s Ben Makuch, and Terror with VICE Media Co-Founder Suroosh Alvi. Additional broadcast details will be announced in the coming weeks.

Joining Rogers Cable, the following television service providers will offer VICELAND as a free preview to their subscribers:
