SportsNet Draws 1.35 Million Canadians for NHL Action on Tuesday

Home Team Hockey once again was a hit on Tuesday, February 1 as 1.35 million Canadians (2+) watched NHL games on Rogers Sportsnet.

Sportsnet’s Home Team Hockey on Tuesday attracted the highest audience number of all NHL broadcasts in Canada for the night.

Home Team Hockey is defined as four NHL regional broadcasts spread across the Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific channels on the same night.

The Vancouver Canucks re-claimed first-place overall with a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars and scored 410,000 viewers on Sportsnet Pacific, while the Toronto Maple Leafs had 633,000 viewers on Sportsnet Ontario watched Colby Armstrong seal a 4-3 shootout win over the Florida Panthers.

Another shootout was featured on Sportsnet West as 177,000 viewers witnessed the Calgary Flames 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators. The Ottawa Senators 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Sportsnet East had an audience of 132,000.
