It’s that time of year again to celebrate country music’s top talent and emerging artists as Corus Entertainment’s CMT (Canada) presents the star-studded 46th Annual Academy of Country Music® Awards broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Produced by dick clark productions, country music queen Reba McEntire and funnyman Blake Shelton will join forces to host this year’s awards show. Emmy Award-winning journalist Nancy O’Dell (Entertainment Tonight) and the ever-popular Ryan Seacrest (American Idol, E! News) are also scheduled presenters.
The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music® Awards will deliver a slate of performances by some of country music’s hottest names including 20-time ACM Award-winning group Alabama, nominee Dierks Bentley, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, James Taylor, Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band, and hosts Reba and Blake Shelton. Entertainment of the Year nominees Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban will also be taking the stage.
Miranda Lambert leads with seven nominations this year, including Top Female Vocalist. Both Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band are nominated for five awards, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry are up for four awards, and Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Lee Brice and Easton Corbin are all up for three awards.
