With a huge night of jaw-dropping finales and hotly anticipated premieres, viewers flocked to see all the drama of Global’s Monday night lineup. The season premiere of fan-favourite Bones won its timeslot with 2 million viewers (2+, National). Nearly 1.6 million viewers (2+, National) flocked to new series Sleepy Hollow to catch the premiere of this eye popping, gothic tale.Under the Dome won its timeslot with 2.1 million viewers (2+, National) watching one of the biggest nail biting finales of the summer. In addition to winning the night, Global saw a 17% increase in viewership over this time last year.
Bones, now in its ninth season, continues to captivate viewers, easily winning its timeslot with 2 million (2+, National) and nearly 750,000 viewers (A18-49, National). Tune in next Monday – 8pm ET/PT as Booth and Brennan go undercover at a marriage retreat where sparks are sure to fly.
The series that has been hailed by critics as “wildly imaginative” (John Doyle, The Globe and Mail) and “a heck of a ride” (Greg David, TVGuide.ca), Sleepy Hollow is a smash hit right out of the gate with nearly1.6 million (2+, national) people tuning in for the premiere. Under the Dome, the #1 drama of the summer, finished its season with huge numbers with nearly 2.1 million (2+, National) and 900,000 viewers (A18-49, National).
