MTV’s top new series of 2014, FINDING CARTER, returns for a highly anticipated second season Tuesday, March 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. The gripping one-hour drama picks up immediately after the shocking Season 1 cliff-hanger, which saw a drugged Carter Stevens (Kathryn Prescott, SKINS) re-kidnapped by Lori (Milean Govich, THE MENTALIST), the woman she once believed to be her mother. Now more scared than ever, this season follows Carter along with her family and friends as they face new obstacles and learn more about the secrets that have been long hidden from them.

FINDING CARTER is the story of Carter Stevens, a teenager whose world is turned upside down when she discovers that the woman she thinks is her mother is actually her abductor. Carter is then forced to abandon everything she’s known and return to her long-lost blood relatives. After finally getting to a good place with her biological parents (Cynthia Wathros, GREY’S ANATOMY and Alexis Denisof, GRIMM), and twin sister (Anna Jacoby-Heron, VEGAS), Carter finds herself right back where she started, kidnapped again.
