TV Gord’s What’s On for the week of March 8-14, 2015

Sunday (did you remember to Spring Forward?)

Motive – 10pm on CTV

The third season of this crime drama where the “who” (the killer) is revealed at the beginning of the show followed by the “how”, begins with an episode called, “Six Months Later”, which sort of sums it all up. It’s six months later, and Detective Flynn is itching to return to the job that she walked away from at the end of season two. Victor Garber guest stars in a role that is said to be a recurring character this season.

Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs – 8pm on Comedy

Jon Stewart once again hosts the latest telethon for Autism Programs in America with performances by Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Steve Carell, Chris Rock, Larry David, Martin Short, Larry Wilmore, Paul Rudd, Weird Al Yankovic, and many more. Jon Bon Jovi performs a unique duet of Wanted: Dead or Alive with Will Forte. Robert Smigel, also known as Triumph The Insult Comic Dog, created this benefit after the difficulty he had finding services for his son (who is now 17).

Fans of The Daily Show will want to take note: a US$10 donation will give you 100 entries into a draw for two tickets (and hotel accommodations) for Jon Stewart’s final Daily Show. The more you donate, the more entries you get.  www.omaze.com/dailyshow
