Bravo July Highlights

Programming Highlights for July on Bravo include:

  • Bravo kicks off July with two back-to-back classic Ewing drama movies DALLAS: JR RETURNS and DALLAS: WAR OF THE EWINGS beginning at 4 p.m. ETfollowed by a DALLAS marathon, replaying the first four episodes of the new series starting at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 1 and repeating Monday, July 2 at 1 p.m. ET
  • Multiple OSCAR®-nominee Sigourney Weaver (Avatar) stars in her first regular television role in the series premiere of POLITICAL ANIMALS on SundayJuly 15 at 9 p.m. ET
  • July movie premieres include THE PATRIOT on Saturday, July 7 at 9 p.m. ETPIRATE RADIO on Saturday, July 14 at 9 p.m. ET, TAKING WOODSTOCK on Saturday, July 21 at 9 p.m. ET and A PERFECT GETAWAY on Saturday, July 28 at 9 p.m. ET

    Sunday, July 1

    6 p.m. – BRAVO MOVIE – DALLAS: WAR OF THE EWINGS
    DALLAS: WAR OF THE EWINGS, finds J.R. (Larry Hagman) running the top independent oil company in Texas. However, his resilient greed for fortune isn’t fulfilled and he plots to take back Ewing Oil, now owned by Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and Sue Ellen (Linda Gray). J.R. stops at nothing to get what he wants, including the purchase of an undiscovered oil estate from Ray Krebb (Steve Kanaly, ALL MY CHILDREN). However, his business partner Carter McKay (George Kennedy, Another Happy Day) has plans of his own.

    Monday July, 2

    9 p.m. – SUITS – “Meet The New Boss”

    Harvey (Gabriel Macht) becomes irritated at Daniel’s (David Costabile) involvement on a lawsuit he’s handling, but their battle to one up each other threatens the case, leaving Mike (Patrick J. Adams) caught in the middle. After Pearson Hardman’s treatment of their associates comes under fire, Louis (Rick Hoffman) meets his match trying to rectify the situation. Meanwhile, Mike handles complications with the two most important women in his life.

     

    10 p.m. – WHITE COLLAR – “Copycat Caffrey”

    Neal (Matt Bomer) and Peter (Tim DeKay) must stay on their toes while chasing after a criminal who’s copying Neal’s style of pulling off capers.


    Saturday, July 7

    9 p.m. – BRAVO MOVIE – THE PATRIOT – *Bravo Premiere*

    In the OSCAR®-nominated film, THE PATRIOT, peaceful farmer and French-Indian war hero Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson, Braveheart) wants nothing more than to live peacefully on his small plantation. Meanwhile, his two eldest sons, Gabriel (Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight) and Thomas (Gregory Smith, ROOKIE BLUE), are anxious to enlist in the newly formed “Continental Army.” However, when Colonel William Tavington (Jason Isaacs, AWAKE), infamous for his brutal tactics, comes and burns the Martin Plantation to the ground, tragedy strikes. Benjamin quickly finds himself torn between protecting his family, and seeking revenge along with being a part of the birth of new, young, and ambitious nation.

     

    Monday, July 9

    9 p.m. – SUITS – “Discovery”

    When Travis’ (Eric Close, WITHOUT A TRACE) return causes trouble, Jessica (Gina Torres) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) must work to hide it from Daniel (David Costabile). Meanwhile, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) grow closer but Louis’ paranoia threatens to ruin their new bond.

     

    10 p.m. – WHITE COLLAR – “By the Book”

    Mozzie (Willie Garson) puts himself in a vulnerable position when he asks Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) to help find someone who’s important to him and whom he fears has been kidnapped.

     

    Wednesday, June 11

    9 p.m. – DALLAS  “Truth and Consequences”

    With tension mounting between the newly married Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) and Rebecca (Julie Gonzalo), family ties begin to unravel when the deed to Southfork is revealed. Meanwhile, in order to thwart J.R.’s (Larry Hagman) schemes, Ann (Brenda Strong) seeks help from someone in her past and Christopher decides it is time to fight dirty.


    Friday, July 13
    9 p.m. – THE LISTENER 
    – “She Sells Sanctuary”

    Toby (Craig Olejnik) and Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) investigate the link between a cult and the disappearance of three young women.


    Saturday, July 14

    9 p.m. – BRAVO MOVIE – PIRATE RADIO – *Bravo Premiere*

    Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote), Bill Nighy (Love Actually) and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill), PIRATE RADIO, follows a band of rogue DJs who run an illegal radio station aboard a boat in the North Sea in England in the 1960s. While playing the music that defined a generation, they stand up to a government that wanted classical music, and nothing else, on the airwaves.

     

    Sunday, July 15

    9 p.m. – POLITICAL ANIMALS – “Pilot” – *Special 90-Minute Series Premiere*

    In the series premiere, President Paul Garcetti (Adrian Pasdar, HEROES), who defeated former First Lady Elaine Barrish (Sigourney Weaver) in the presidential primary, appoints her as his Secretary of State. A smart man who uses every resource at his disposal to his advantage, he deftly employs Elaine’s popularity to deflect unwanted attention. Elaine tries to keep her family together while simultaneously dealing with crises of the State Department and a hungry D.C. journalist (Carla Gugino, ENTOURAGE) who is bent on destroying her. The project also stars legendary Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn, as well as James Wolk (SHAMELESS), Sebastian Stan (GOSSIP GIRL), Brittany Ishibashi (THE MENTALIST) and Ciarán Hinds (TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY). Oscar winner Vanessa Redgrave guest stars.


    Monday, July 16

    9 p.m. – SUITS – “Break Point”

    Harvey (Gabriel Macht) is given the second chair position on an important case, as Mike (Patrick J. Adams) works on the case of a tennis phenom.

     

    10 p.m. – WHITE COLLAR – “Unfinished Business”

    An insurance investigator (Hilarie Burton, ONE TREE HILL) is the target of a murder plot stemming from a routine bond theft. The FBI tracks the bonds to a real-estate mogul, but Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) need to figure out why he wants the woman dead.

     

    Wednesday, July 18

    9 p.m. – DALLAS – “Enemy of My Enemy”  

    John Ross (Josh Henderson) is bothered by the weight of having to do his father’s dirty work and decides to move into Southfork. Strife continues to grow between Ann (Brenda Strong) and Bobby (Patrick Duffy) when it is revealed she went to her ex for help with a family problem. Rebecca (Julie Gonzalo) approaches Bobby and Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) with information that she believes might help save the ranch.

     

    Friday, July 20

    9 p.m. – THE LISTENER – “Poisoned Minds”

    Toby (Craig Olejnik) and Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) investigate the death of a pharmaceutical executive who released a drug with killer results.

    9 p.m. – BRAVO MOVIE – TAKING WOODSTOCK – *Bravo Premiere*

    The film TAKING WOODSTOCK, follows a true story of Elliot Tiber (Demetri Martin, IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMITRI MARTIN), an aspiring Greenwich Village interior designer who works at his parents’ motel in the Catskills. Elliot inadvertently sets in motion the generation-defining concert in the summer of 1969.

    As Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Mike (Patrick J. Adams) take on an unorthodox case, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) team up, and Jessica (Gina Torres)runs into problems in her defence of the firm.

     

    10 p.m. – WHITE COLLAR – “In The Red”

    Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) enter the world of high-stakes gambling in order to catch a criminal who’s extorting adoptive parents.

    9 p.m. – DALLAS – “Collateral Damage” 

    Rebecca (Julie Gonzalo) reveals a life-changing secret to Elena (Jordana Brewster). Still riling from his interaction with Bobby (Patrick Duffy), Ann’s (Brenda Strong) ex-husband demands an apology. Meanwhile, John Ross (Josh Henderson) is under pressure from his allies and tries to turn one family member against another.

     

    Saturday, July 28

    9 p.m. – BRAVO MOVIE – A PERFECT GETAWAY – *Bravo Premiere*

    In A PERFECT GETAWAY, newlyweds Cliff (Steve Zahn, TREME) and Cydney (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil) head on their honeymoon to Hawaii and encounter two frustrated hitchhikers Kale (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) and Cleo (Marley Shelton, Sin City) as well as Nick (Timothy Olyphant, JUSTIFIED) and Gina (Kiele Sanchez, THE GLADES) who help lead them through the island. While journeying through the blissful countryside, Cliff and Cydney discover that psychopaths are stalking and murdering tourists on the islands.

    Peter (Tim DeKay) helps the U.S. Marshals determine which FBI agent is leaking the locations of trial witnesses for a payoff. After a suspect is named, however, Peter goes on the run with the accused agent until he can prove the man’s innocence.
