| X-Treme Sports is Shutting Down |

In less than two months, Canwest is shutting down another channel. As you might already be aware, Cool TV was shut down last july. Now, Canwest has decided that X-Treme Sports will cease operations on October 9th, 2008.

Attention Xtreme Sports Channel Subscribers:
Effective October 9th the XTREME Sports channel will no longer be available for viewing. Canwest Broadcasting continually reviews its assets and determines which have the most potential for growth, profitability and warrant investment. It is through our analysis, we as broadcasters are sometimes left with difficult choices. With the decision to discontinue Xtreme Sports, we can now invest more in the channels that have the greatest potential and look forward to bringing our viewers more great specialty programming in the future.
We appreciate your support and we've enjoyed bringing viewers extensive coverage of thrilling, action-packed sports.
