Entourage (Season 5)
Premieres Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 8:30 p.m. ET (12 x 30 min; comedy)

Drawing on the experiences of industry insiders, Entourage continues to explore the world of Hollywood actor Vince Chase, his manager Eric, half-brother Drama, party pal Turtle and neurotic agent Ari Gold. In season five, Vince and Eric try to find ways to rejuvenate Vince’s struggling career. Drama is enjoying his successful television career – although he experiences problems in his love life, and Turtle is forced to reexamine his contribution to life in the fast lane. Celebrity guest stars for season five include Mark Wahlberg, rapper T.I., Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Tony Bennett. Starring Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, Perrey Reeves, Debi Mazar and Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui.


True Blood (New Series)

Six Feet Under’s Alan Ball delivers a new series about a clan of vampires living in a small Louisiana town. Based on Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire novel series, True Blood follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid who can read people’s minds and winds up falling for vampire Bill Compton. Starring Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

The Life & Times of Tim (New Series)
Premieres Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 8 p.m. ET (10 x 30 min; comedy)

This animated comedy series is about Tim, a 25-year-old living in New York City, with his girlfriend Amy. Despite being a normal and nice guy and his tireless effort at doing the right thing, Tim just can’t seem to get a break in life. Starring Steve Dildarian and MJ Otto.

Little Britain in America (New Series)
Premieres: Monday, September 29, 2008 at 9:30 p.m. ET (6 x 30 min; comedy)

Little Britain in America is a spinoff of the highly-successful British character-based sketch comedy series Little Britain. Making its North American debut, this hit Australian mockumentary series from creator and star Chris Lilley (We Can Be Heroes) focuses on the parody of high school life through two students – the self-centred Ja’mie King and the unruly and offensive Jonah Takalua – as well as their eccentric bachelor drama teacher Mr. G. Also starring Danny Alsabbagh and Elida Brereton.

Big Love (Season 3)

Flight of the Conchords (Season 2)

Starring the cutting-edge New Zealand music-comedy duo of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, the second season of Flight of the Conchords continues to revolve around the adventures of the transplanted twosome, who live on New York City. Sanctuary (New Series)

ZOS: Zone of Separation (New Series)

The Weight (New Series)

Created and written by playwright/screenwriter George F. Walker and Dani Romain, this series tells the story of Max and Donny, two cops who are often as morally ambiguous as the criminals they pursue – and consequences that affect the people who surround them. Set in the 1870s, a grieving upper class woman hopes to break away from her troubles by becoming a “Lady Visitor” at Millbank prison. As she tries to become a guiding figure for the female prisoners, she strikes a particular fascination with Selina, one of the prisoners who also happens to be a medium. From writer Andrew Davies (Sense and Sensibility, Bridget Jones, Vanity Fair) and starring Anna Madeley, Zoe Tapper, Domini Blythe, Anne Reid and Amanda Plummer.

The Nasty Show 2 (Special)
Premieres January 2009 (comedy)

Hosted by Nick Di Paolo, the second installment of this comedy special from the renowned Montreal comedy festival Just For Laughs will feature a filthy and funny presentation of no-holds-barred hardcore humour from some of the crudest comedians including Patrice Oneal, Joe DeRosa, Jason Rouse, Otto & George and Chris Neff.
