NHL Network will showcase one of the Toronto Maple Leafs most rough and tumble Stanley Cup® playoff appearances with Stanley Cup Classics and the bone-jarring 2002 Conference Quarter-final showdown with the New York Islanders. Coverage includes all seven games from the notoriously nasty matchup beginning Monday, August 12 at 8:30 p.m. (all times Eastern) and continues the entire week with one game each night.
The theme week also includes programs such as Once a Leaf, Heartbeat, TSN Profile, Ice Level and Coaches, which take a behind-the-scenes look at some of the team’s most instrumental players, coaches and owners from its 82-year Original Six legacy, including Ron Ellis, Darcy Tucker, Pat Quinn and Harold Ballard.
