Pro Shops MBNA 500 on Sunday, October 31st 2004. The standings are as close as ever, as Kurt Busch has a hold on first place, but is followed closely by the popular Jeff Gordon and two time Busch Series champion, Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Kurt Busch is seeking his first NASCAR NEXTEL Cup title in only his fourth full season. He is currently 96 points ahead of four-time series champion Jeff Gordon, and 125 points ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Atlanta Motor Speedway is home to this weekend’s Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500. Expect drivers to be going all out around the 24 degree turns, as they make there way to the 2,332 foot frontstretch. Atlanta Motor Speedway is an ultra-modern, multi-purpose venue that has taken NASCAR racetracks to the next level. Expect the energy to build, as a packed Atlanta Motor Speedway of 53,000 fans will be cheering on there favorite racecar driver.
