TSN gets in the gridiron groove with 25 NFL games this season – including every Sunday night match-up throughout the regular season and the Pro Bowl. This marks the first year of a new four-year broadcast agreement for TSN and the National Football League.
The action kicks off with the Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Highlights of TSN’s NFL broadcast schedule include the traditional American Thanksgiving Day doubleheader on November 25, a tripleheader on December 18, and two games on Christmas Day.
Every Sunday night match-up will be televised in High Definition, available on Bell ExpressVu channel 675, Rogers Digital Cable channel 278 and Southern Ontario-based Mountain Cable channel 631.
SportsCentre has wall-to-wall NFL highlights and analysis throughout the season. On Mondays, SportsCentre presents Game Film, featuring TSN resident football guru Chris Schultz breaking down game film to give fans an inside look at the NFL’s playmakers and play breakers. On Thursdays, Schultz is back with the popular Risky Business with Chris Schultz segment, offering up his four weekly picks against the spread. On Fridays, TSN NFL Insider John Clayton of ESPN fame hits the air to offer his perspective on the coming weekend’s action. And on Saturdays, it’s NFL Match-ups, as the SportsCentre broadcast team picks the best NFL match-up of the week and provides an in-depth preview of the game.
ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown makes its debut on TSN on Monday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Airing directly prior to every Monday night match-up, Monday Night Countdown provides 90 minutes of analysis, interviews, highlights, up-to-the-minute NFL news and live reports from the site of ABC’s Monday Night Football game.
