TSN today announced a revised CFL broadcast schedule for the 2006 season. The changes are the result of recent developments at the League.
TSN’s 2006 broadcast season will now consist of 50 telecasts, including an opening night double-header on June 16. TSN will continue to televise a minimum of 27 games in High Definition this season on TSN HD, including at least one Wendy’s Friday Night Football game each week.
TSN has been televising CFL games since 1986. In 1997, TSN created appointment television for Canadian football fans with Friday Night Football, a weekly staple on the CFL calendar.
