A cranky old panda trains two adorable rabbits in a mystical martial art to save the world from evil in Yin Yang Yo!, a 26-episode animated series making its Canadian television premiere on Astral Media ’s Family Channel on Sunday, March 25 at 6:55 a.m. ET/PT.
Yin and Yang may look innocent enough, but don’t be fooled. The brother and sister duo are actually fierce ninja warriors, the only remaining Woo Foo fighters in the world apart from their teacher Yo. The polar-opposite twin rabbits must put their differences aside to fight off the evil likes of Carl the cockroach, who actually still lives with his mother and strives to make her proud of him.
Yin is smart and sassy, but ever so stubborn. She struggles between her desire to save the world and the nagging urge to strangle her brother. Yang is fast, furious and out of control. He truly is a boy, full of energy, ready to take on any fight.
Yin Yang Yo! is created, directed and executive produced by Bob Boyle (Fairly OddParens). Steve Marvel is the co-executive producer and head writer. Animation for the series is completed in Toronto, Ontario at George Elliott Animation.
