Tripping the Rift premieres on Space

A Canadian Television Premiere – Airs Tuesdays @ 10pm ET, beginning April 6.

An animated satirical series which follows the adventures of the starship Jupiter 42 and its bizarre gang of misfit shipmates who travel the universe looking to make a quick buck. Voice talents include Gina Gershon, Rick Jones, Maurice LaMarche, Stephen Root, Gayle Garfinkle and John Melendez. Based on an award-winning webfilm, Tripping the Rift is produced in association with CHUM Television and features the writing talents of Bill Rosenthal (The Single Guy, The John Larroquette Show) and Andrew Borakove (South Park, Dilbert).

Once again, SPACE: The Imagination Station celebrates and honours the best in sci-fi and fantasy entertainment from the past year with its traveling award show, The 2nd Annual SPACEYS. STARGATE SG -1 VIEWERS CHOICE MARATHON
Good Friday – April 9, beginning @ 11am ET

SPACE unlocks the universe on Good Friday with a special Stargate SG-1 Viewers Choice Marathon. Viewers will get a chance to vote at www.spacecast.com from March 15 to April 2 for their favourite episodes from seasons one through five. On Friday, April 9 beginning at 11am ET, SPACE will air the top 10 picks from least to most favourite.

In the year 2018, mankind is colonizing the oceans and exploiting their resources, establishing small undersea farming, mining and manufacturing communities. But with new-found potential comes old-fashioned conflict and the United Earth Oceans Organization (U.E.O.) assigns the submarine, seaQuest DSV, led by Captain Nathan Bridger to keep the underwater peace and patrol the planet’s final frontier. SPACE will air all three seasons of the series starring Roy Scheider, Ted Raimi and Jonathan Brandis.

ALIENATED – Season Two
A Canadian Television Premiere – Airs Tuesdays @ 10:30pm ET, beginning April 6

The Blundell family is back for another season of alien abduction. Produced in association with CHUM Television and filmed on location in Victoria, BC, Alienated showcases what happens when aliens tamper with a typical suburban family. Stars Canadian actors Sarah Jane Redmond and Jonathan Whittaker. George Tekai (Star Trek: The Original Series) makes a special guest appearance in the third episode of the second season, which airs April 20 at 10:30pm ET on SPACE.

UFO’S UNDER INVESTIGATION
A SPACE Series Premiere – Airs Saturdays @ 7pm ET, beginning April 10

A 13-part Canadian-made documentary series exploring the UFO phenomenon. Hosted by journalist Christian R. Page, the series takes a critical look at various alien visitations.
