Viewers used to spending summers immersed in nature can get in touch with wildlife from the comfort of the couch thanks to Animal Planet’s nationwide freeview, beginning Tuesday, June 2. Roaring with a variety of new and returning series, the feel-good freeview is led by season premieres of THE AQUARIUM (June 15), PIT BULLS AND PAROLEES (June 26), and NORTH WOODS LAW (June 30).
Available until Thursday, July 9, Animal Planet’s jam-packed free preview arrives when self-isolating Canadians looking for entertainment need it most, featuring all-new episodes of LONE STAR LAW, COYOTE PETERSON: BRAVE THE WILD, and AMANDA TO THE RESCUE.
Animal Planet’s free preview is available through participating television service providers across the country, including but not limited to Bell, Bell Aliant, Bell MTS, Cogeco, Eastlink, Rogers, Telus, SaskTel, and participating members of the CCSA.
Animal Planet subscribers can access live streaming of programming through the Discovery GO app, while subscribers and non-subscribers alike can sample select Animal Planet programming during the free preview at Discovery.ca.

THE AQUARIUM (8×60) *Season 2 Premiere*
Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT beginning June 15
The premiere episode, “Big is Beautiful”, sees Tank the hungry sea turtle find a space to eat in peace after eating all his tankmate’s food. Meanwhile, two beluga whales are welcomed to their new home, and Scarlett the lovable sea lion turns two.
PIT BULLS AND PAROLEES (10×60) *Season 11 Premiere*

Fan-favourite series PIT BULLS AND PAROLEES follows Tia Torres and her family as they dedicate their lives to the Villalobos Rescue Center – the largest pit bull rescue in the United States – uniting felons and ill-reputed pit bulls who rescue one another from their dim pasts.
In the premiere episode, “Weather the Storm”, Villalobos braces for Hurricane Barry as Tia and her crew work to ensure the animals’ safety. Meanwhile, the team tends to a stray labradoodle that has been shot, and a cancer survivor hopes to rescue a dog named East.
NORTH WOODS LAW (12×60) *Season 7B*

From new investigations, to bigger stakes, to even wilder animals, it’s all about teamwork on a new season of NORTH WOODS LAW, as the Conservation Officers of New Hampshire, and their adorable K-9 force, take on everything the state can throw at them.
The premiere episode, “Running Out of Time”, follows the wardens, the National Guard, and dozens of volunteers as they team up in a massive, days-long search for a hiker missing in the vast wilderness of the White Mountains. Later, the wardens take on some familiar faces in a charity softball game against Maine.
