Beginning November 21, world-renowned British physicist, Professor Brian Cox takes viewers back in time, far beyond our solar system and out into the vastness of space, in the stunning new BBC Earth series Universe (5×60’). Across the five-part series, Professor Brian Cox explores the dramatic story of the origin of the Universe from its formation 13.8 billion years ago to a glimpse into its future trillions of years from now. From watching the birth of a star in a stellar nursery, witnessing mayhem caused by colliding galaxies and experiencing the astounding power of supermassive black holes as it consumes an entire planet. As a result of huge advances in our understanding of the Universe, BBC Earth’s Universe is able to take audiences to places in the cosmos we didn’t even know existed just ten years ago and tell their story. The all-new series showcases the expansive story of the cosmos, uncovering exquisite moments of sheer drama that changed the Universe forever and to what could be its ultimate fate. The Canadian broadcast premiere of Universe airs Sunday, November 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on BBC Earth.
