SEPTEMBER 21 – HBO Max’s YOUNG LOVE *Series Premiere*
- The all-new HBO Max animated series YOUNG LOVE expands on the family introduced in the award-winning short film Hair Love. YOUNG LOVE is an honest look into the world of the Young family – including millennial parents Stephen and Angela, their daughter Zuri, and her pet cat Rocky – as they juggle their careers, marriage, parenthood, social issues, and multi-generational dynamics, all while striving to make a better life for themselves. The first four episodes of YOUNG LOVE debut on Thursday, Sept 21, with subsequent episodes dropping Thursdays on Crave.
SEPTEMBER 23 – Crave Original I HAVE NOTHING *New Series*
- Crave’s Original docu-comedy series, I HAVE NOTHING, drops Saturday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET with all six episodes, immediately following a special screening event at the Just for Laughs Festival in Toronto. Created by Carolyn Taylor (BARONESS VON SKETCH), the series follows Taylor on a comical quest to choreograph the perfect, full-length pairs figure skating routine to Whitney Houston’s 1992 iconic hit song, “I Have Nothing.” Joining Carolyn on her mission are legends from the world of figure skating including Sandra Bezic, David Pelletier, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Kurt Browning, Paul Martini, Barbara Underhill, as well as award-winning comedian, actor, and writer, Mae Martin.
SEPTEMBER 23 – HBO’s SAM JAY: SALUTE ME OR SHOOT ME *Comedy Special*
- In her first HBO stand-up special, comedian and writer Sam Jay takes the stage at Brooklyn Steel for a hilariously frank discussion on embracing our differences, the stresses of long-term relationships, and the power of empathy. Newly engaged, Jay gets candid about life with her future wife, and the unknown stresses of being ‘the man,’ the grim reality of trash day, and more. SAM JAY: SALUTE ME OR SHOOT ME premieres on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. ET.
SEPTEMBER 26 – THE VOICE *Season 24*
- New episodes of THE VOICE (Season 24) are available for streaming on Crave on Tuesdays, following their broadcast premiere Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV2, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 26. Season 24 brings new coaches Reba McEntire and Niall Horan, who join Gwen Stefani and John Legend.
SEPTEMBER 26 – HBO’s SAVIOR COMPLEX *Docuseries Premiere*
- HBO’s SAVIOR COMPLEX chronicles the controversial story surrounding Renee Bach, a young American missionary who felt called by God to set up a charity for malnourished children in Jinja, Uganda. Years later, shocking allegations arose that Renee was treating the sick children herself, without medical qualifications. Detailing Renee’s divisive journey, the series addresses the wider questions around “white saviourism” and the ethics of foreign aid work done in the name of humanitarian and religious ideals. All three episodes of SAVIOR COMPLEX are available on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET.
