Press baron Conrad Black has made as many headlines over the years as he has newspapers. In an exclusive interview to air this Sunday on Global TV’s Ottawa Inside/Out, Lord Black shares his provocative views on Canada’s decision not to join the United States in the war against Iraq. “I think the time Canada has influence in Washington is, at least temporarily, over”, says Black.
The influential owner of Britain’s The Daily Telegraph and the Jerusalem Post takes aim at what he calls the “petty despots” at the United Nations. The interview conducted by Robert Fife, Ottawa Bureau Chief for the National Post and CanWest News Service, also explores his views on the long-term prospects for peace in the Middle East and the future of NATO.
The interview will air across the country this Sunday, March 30th on the full Global Television Network at the following local times:
10:00 AM in British Columbia
11:30 AM in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
11:00 AM in Ontario & Quebec
12:00 PM in the Maritimes
